Our FED division are working with a global company who develop cutting-edge technologies for the biggest names in aerospace, defence and energy—Boeing, GE and Rolls-Royce to name a few. Their Applied Research & Technology strategy looks 20 years into the future, guiding investment to make sure they stay ahead. They employ over 11,000 people across manufacturing facilities in Asia, Europe, North America, with regional bases in India and the Middle East.

This position leads and directs the Manufacturing and Operations Function within a business unit or a group of businesses. The professional will ensure appropriate resources to achieve financial and business objectives. Influences, shapes and integrates strategy for functional areas and participates in setting a growth strategy for the business that is consistent with corporate goals.

Your core responsibilities are:

To leads and direct the manufacturing and operation units to obtain optimum productivity, while reaching strategic goals

Provide general logistics support to manufacturing floor such as processing material requisitions, sub-assembly paperwork closure and material relocation

Define and integrates strategy for functional area(s) to effectively meet business objectives

Able to provide managerial and technical solutions to a variety of complex issues

Implement and drive processes and procedures to enable the manufacturing and operation units efficiently and effectively, while ensuring department budget is met

Be able to act as a Mentor and oversee technical and professional development of the Manufacturing and Operation teams

You will be skilled in manufacturing processes of aerospace or automotive industry and experience in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma process improvements, be capable of driving change transformation and strategy execution to achieve specific business results

Offer leadership to a team of employees as defined by business needs

Previous experience across staff selection, performance, development and training processes to ensure team competencies and capabilities to reach the business goals and expectations
